University of Kansas will host public presentations by four provost finalists in January and February at Burge Union and Kansas Union + viewable online.

The search committee plans to select a new provost by Mar. 1, giving local community members a chance to hear each candidate's vision.

The Douglas County Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge has opened applications for students in grades 6–12 to pitch business ideas for cash prizes, including a new $250 Innovate Globally Prize (inspired by the World Cup).
