- ➤ Professor Sherry Fowler from the University of Kansas wrote a book that explores Japanese Buddhist bells and dragons to show how temple bells were used in daily rituals & how they became part of folklore. - ➤ Local librarians held a panel discussion at today's Free State Festival screening to address challenges to intellectual freedom following book bans in other parts of the country.
