Boba & Beyond has opened its second location at Lawrence Transit’s Central Station near KU as the sole vendor.
Owner Amrutha Ravikumar said the cafe offers boba tea+ coffee drinks+ snacks and will hold a grand opening on July 17 with expanded hours and menu choices.

Professor Sherry Fowler from the University of Kansas wrote a book that explores Japanese Buddhist bells and dragons to show how temple bells were used in daily rituals & how they became part of folklore.
The book uses rare photos and stories to explain these legends & the unique sounds of the bells.
Local librarians held a panel discussion at today's Free State Festival screening to address challenges to intellectual freedom following book bans in other parts of the country.
