- ➤ A Lawrence man's iPhone sent an automatic alert that brought first responders to a car crash on April 1 at 1:25 a.m. on 1000 N. 1800 Road—where a 2022 Nissan Sentra hit a culvert, rolled over, and the 20-year-old driver was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. KCTV
- ➤ A 20-year-old man from Lawrence was injured in a one-car crash early Wednesday, April 2 on the 1000 block of North 1800 Road north of town — his iPhone automatically sent an alert that helped first responders locate his Nissan Sentra after it left the road, and medics took him to a Topeka-area hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
