- ➤ Lawrence held an open house on Dec. 10 for the North Lawrence Corridor Study at Venue 1235, where residents provided input on placemaking, connectivity and preserving local culture. - ➤ Lawrence Affordable Housing Advisory Board members met Wednesday and proposed topics including the university student rental market and stricter rental code enforcement to guide an upcoming housing study by Development Strategies + the study will help shape future city policies on affordable housing for diverse residents. - ➤ The state approved nearly $50M for Parade Park Homes redevelopment as demolition is set to begin soon, paving the way for a new chapter in community housing. Future phases will focus on updating the complex for local families. KCTV
