- ➤ A working paper from the University of Kansas shows that auditors in less competitive markets deliver higher quality audits (they work more efficiently and require fewer labor hours) and the study has been accepted by the Journal of Accounting Research. - ➤ Grace Edgar from the University of Kansas School of Music studied how Republic Pictures re-used musical snippets in serials made from 1936 to 1955 in a new article published Tuesday, Dec. 9.
