- ➤ KCK police issued a Silver Alert for Robert Banks, 84, who was last seen between 6 and 7 p.m. near 2925 N. 27th St in Kansas City wearing a green Carhart jacket and jeans—he has dementia and no phone, so anyone who sees him is asked to call 911. KMBC
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ City officials announced several road closures for upcoming projects — the block of 9th St. between Indiana and Louisiana will close on December 1 for the Jayhawk Watershed project and 27th St. between Iowa and Chipperfield will close on December 2 for a stormwater replacement project due to finish in Q1 — that will affect parking and business access. Separately, Fambrough Dr. will close on November 28 at 6 a.m. for a KU Football Gameday event — with the intersection of 9th and Massachusetts closing from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for holiday lighting and Santa rescue — to ensure safe travel for event-goers.
