On November 15, a local shelter waived adoption fees at a special event to help more pets find homes—residents took advantage of the opportunity to welcome new companions.

A Metro holiday market in Lawrence is offering discounted holiday items and essential goods to help local residents in need.

Lawrence Arts Center joined Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Digital Accelerator in late October for a two-year project to upgrade its website and CRM system so that patrons can easily enroll in classes, reserve tickets, and access financial aid—staff expect small changes by spring with more improvements by summer.
