- ➤ Authorities rescued several dogs from a woman's home on November 14 after neighbors raised concerns about their care, and police are investigating possible neglect. KCTV
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The community is invited to the Louise ImMasche Celebration Tour Cabaret at Theatre Lawrence on November 22. Doors open at 7 p.m.—with the event starting at 7:30 p.m.—and ticket sales will help create a fund to support independent artists. The Lawrence Times

- ➤ The University of Kansas will celebrate International Education Week Nov. 17-21 with events on campus such as a symposium, food festival, and tea gathering—efforts that strengthen global links and cultural learning. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Starting December 1, Lawrence will close one block of 9th St. from Indiana to Louisiana for the Jayhawk Watershed project to replace old pipes and reduce flooding.
