Saturday evening, Lawrence community members gathered at John Taylor Park for Día de Muertos to honor human loved ones and pets by creating ofrendas and enjoying food, music, and face painting — the event was organized by Somos Lawrence and Lawrence Percolator in partnership with the Lawrence Humane Society. This annual celebration brings together diverse groups in a shared tribute to the past.
