KU Jazz and Commercial Music students will present The Dark Side of Oz: Re-Imagined at Liberty Hall downtown on October 29th at 7:30 p.m.—this immersive concert blends classic Pink Floyd tunes with visuals from The Wizard of Oz and honors Ozzy Osbourne with guest guitarist Lucas Parker.

The City of Lawrence will host an Energy Conservation Fair at the Lawrence Public Library at 707 Vermont St.—the event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct 18 and is free to attend.
