🌲 Environment
KU engineers are showing how a $7.7 million, five-year research project using fiber-reinforced polymers and AI is improving dam repairs and public safety across the region.
The project began nearly four years ago and will conclude in April (2027) with enhanced infrastructure for Kansas.
🏛️ Government
Pharmacist Will Anderson at Orchards Pharmacy explained that new Kansas law (SB 20) now mandates a transparent reimbursement formula to curb spread pricing abuses by pharmacy benefit managers.
He reported an 11% revenue decline so far and said data will be collected over the next year.
