- ➤ The City of Lawrence announced a new timeline for the Outdoor Aquatic Center project so the pool stays open for the 2025 and 2026 swim seasons—restroom renovations will begin late 2025 and aquatic upgrades, including a zero-depth entry pool, will follow after the 2026 season. Changes depend on keeping bids within budget and may adjust if emergency repairs are needed. City of Lawrence
