- ➤ Lawrence has launched a new economic development website called GrowLawrence.org to boost business growth and expand the commercial tax base in target industries like creative and professional services and advanced materials—citizens can use the site to learn about opportunities for starting, relocating, or expanding their business. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Lawrence school board will consider approving a 10-cent increase in student meal prices at its meeting Monday, June 9 at 6 p.m. at district offices on McDonald Drive—if approved, new prices will raise elementary lunch from $3 to $3.10, adjust middle and high school rates to $3.30 and $3.35, and similarly increase breakfast and adult meal costs.
