COMMUNITY NEWS

  • The sober living home for women in recovery at 1046 New Hampshire St. was unveiled Wednesday afternoon to fill a local gap in supportive housing. • A dozen current and former Bert Nash employees testified at a Douglas County Commission meeting and blamed poor management — which led to layoffs, salary cuts, and a projected $3 million loss — for the center’s financial crisis.
