EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Today, the Lawrence school board will vote at district offices—110 McDonald Drive—on a plan to lease 3,800 MacBook Air laptops for high school students through a new $4.2 million three-year contract that costs about $1 million more than the previous iPad lease. The board will also hear an update on expanding the AVID program and a teacher presentation from Sunflower Elementary before a 30-minute closed session on personnel matters. The Lawrence Times
