- ➤ Canvas, the online platform KU uses for class materials and assignments, went offline Thursday after its vendor was hit by a cyberattack (raising concerns ahead of finals starting Monday, May 11) and KU IT urges users to check its alerts for updates. The Lawrence Times
- ➤ University of Kansas has announced Judith Rosenbaum-Andre as the next dean of the William Allen White School of Journalism & Mass Communications; she will start on July 19 and replace interim dean Scott Reinardy. The Lawrence Times
