- ➤ The Dole Institute, Watkins Museum and City of Lawrence announced a Tribute Gallery to honor current and former public servants that will debut at Summerfest Fourth of July event at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, with submissions open until June 20. University of Kansas
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ KU selected 21 seniors on Wed, May 6 to receive the Self Memorial Scholarship for the 2026-2027 academic year. The award provides a $10,000 scholarship and $1,000 professional development to support their upcoming master’s or doctoral studies. University of Kansas
- ➤ The Kansas Biological Survey and Center for Ecological Research awarded $4,000 to four students for research in the coming academic year at the KU Field Station (a 3,200-acre resource).
