- ➤ Severe storms on Monday caused part of brick to fall from Stephenson Scholarship Hall at KU, damaging the fire escape & ground without harming students or impacting dorm spaces. Students were relocated to Crawford Community Center while KU Housing & Residence Life and engineers evaluate repairs and the dorm's future. KCTV

- ➤ The City of Lawrence Compost Facility is holding a Self-Load and Drop-Off event on Saturday, May 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1420 E. 11th Street to manage increased material volume and serve City residents only (proof of residency required). City of Lawrence
