🎭 Culture
Local artists will open studios, homes and creative spaces to the public during the free Art Spaces tour on May 3 and May 4—offering chances to see art displays, watch demos and try hands-on activities with various art forms.
The event gives visitors a unique look at the creative process and works not usually seen in galleries.
🎓 Education
The Lawrence school board will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 28 to consider new classroom ratios and enrollment capacities for the 2025-26 school year — superintendent Jeanice Swift will recommend changes amid adjustments to open enrollment trends.
The agenda does not include public comment, and the board will also review planned enhancements for the coming year.
