Lawrence Humane Society spotlights Luna, a pit bull and Labrador mix with a gentle nature as its Pet of the Week.

City contractors will close Brush Creek Dr from W 24th to Winterbrook beginning April 27 for a watermain project (local access will remain) until late-July.
Lane reductions on N 2nd and temporary closures on Connecticut and E 9th are planned for April 28 and 29.
