- ➤ Lawrence police arrested a suspect at Motel 6 on North Third Street on Monday—recovering over $10,000 in stolen items including computers, tools, and more than 30 IDs linked to break-ins in Lawrence, Kansas City and Topeka with additional charges pending. KMBC
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ A University of Kansas study found that interventions to improve working memory helped third grade students tackle word problems, with those facing math difficulties benefiting the most—reducing the mental strain needed to solve complex questions. The eight-week research showed that teaching strategies like underlining key information improved students’ abilities to work through problems and may guide future teaching methods.
