EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On April 3, KU debaters John Marshall and Graham Revare earned the Rex Copeland Award as the top team in the country at the National Debate Tournament opening in Spokane, and coach Brett Bricker won the James J. Unger Award as the best coach—KU will have three teams competing at the tournament from April 4-7 at Gonzaga University. University of Kansas
- ➤ KU School of Engineering professor Hongyang Sun won a five-year NSF CAREER Award worth $558,000 to improve high-performance computing systems. He will use the grant to build outreach programs, update course plans, and create research opportunities for students. University of Kansas
