- ➤ Lawrence Police and the KBI are expanding the search for missing 74-year-old Wanda Dyer, who was last seen leaving her home near 5th and California Street on March 22 at 8 a.m.—updated images show her at an establishment wearing a black jacket with pink lining, blue patterned bottoms and a black backpack, and police say she may be heading east toward Eudora and Kansas City, urging anyone with information to call Douglas County dispatch at 785-843-0250. - ➤ Lawrence Police and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation issued a statewide Silver Alert for 74-year-old Wanda Dyer—missing for over a week, last seen in Douglas County wearing a black coat with a pink lining, a hoodie, multi-colored pants and a backpack—and ask anyone who sees her to call 911. - ➤ KU associate professor Kij Johnson returned to RiverBank with her new project turning her 2017 feminist take on Wind in the Willows into a role-playing game with Kobold Press — where players use talking animals and simple game rules to create adventures. The game will launch on BackerKit in April and be available in stores in November—an effort reflecting increased interest in tabletop gaming. University of Kansas
