- ➤ Kansas Governor Laura Kelly signed a law banning personal device use during school hours in public and accredited private schools beginning this fall. Schools must certify their compliance by Sept. 1. KCTV

- ➤ A city board recommended that plans for The Place @ KU, a 75-unit, 300-bedroom apartment complex at 15th and Ohio be revised for better neighborhood compatibility + revised designs will be discussed at an architectural review meeting on Thursday, April 16. The Lawrence Times
