- ➤ On Wednesday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m., artist Javy Ortiz will lead a community engagement session at the Lawrence Public Library (707 Vermont St) to collect feedback on his new tribute mural to the La Yarda community. - ➤ A team from Operation Wildlife rescued two adult beavers stranded at a state fishing lake after a failed rescue for a juvenile that had died. Rescuers drove from Linwood and removed the animals safely—though the beavers damaged their rescue equipment. KCTV
