- ➤ KU’s Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies will host the Spring Festival at Liberty Hall (644 Massachusetts St.) on Sunday, Mar. 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. The event will feature live music, interactive crafts and hundreds of bliny, with Mavka performing at 3 p.m. The Lawrence Times

- ➤ KU celebrates the Kansas Union's 100th anniversary with events starting Sunday, March 1 featuring golf and bowling at the union (1301 Jayhawk Blvd); a casino night on April 25; and a centennial party on April 30 at Ascher Plaza. More events follow until early October. The Lawrence Times

- ➤ Kansas health regulators warned on Wednesday, Feb. 25 that some IV therapy clinics may be breaking the law by letting unlicensed staff (cosmetologists, estheticians) administer vitamin drips without a proper doctor evaluation; they noted that letting patients choose treatments from a menu violates state law.
