- ➤ Choreographer Shannon Stewart received a $10,000 grant from the Creative Capital Foundation and will stage a dance performance on April 25 to celebrate the opening of the Rice Woodland nature trail at the KU Field Station just north of Lawrence. University of Kansas
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ University of Kansas selected 15 sophomores for the 2026 Global Scholars Program, which honors students who excel in international studies. They will take a spring seminar and work with a faculty mentor on a research project (titled Globalizing Local Culture) to deepen their global perspectives. University of Kansas
- ➤ KU International Affairs is accepting travel grant applications from faculty and graduate students for research abroad; proposals must be submitted by March 9 and awards will be announced by the end of April.
